Buy or Don't Buy

Checklist

The "Buy or Don't Buy" checklist for impulse shoppers helps assess necessity versus impulse by considering if the item fulfills a genuine need, fits within budget constraints, and aligns with long-term priorities, ultimately promoting mindful purchasing decisions.

Monthly No Spend Challenge Tracker

The monthly "No Spend" tracker works by allowing users to mark each day they successfully refrain from making impulse purchases, thereby promoting awareness of spending triggers, reinforcing self-control habits, and fostering a sense of accomplishment in adhering to financial goals.

52-Week Savings

Challenge

The $1 incremental 52-week savings challenge starts with saving $1 in the first week and increases by $1 each week, resulting in $1,378 saved by the end of the year. It encourages consistent savings habits through manageable increments, making financial goals more attainable over time.

Users from all over...

Simple, small app with questions I haven't thought of when it comes to buying. I hope it is still actively being developed. Like a small widget showing how many purchases I saved or just a simple backup of data could be potential features. But the basic features so far seem enough.

I’ve been dreaming of a cute and functional no-spend app that encourages you to think more intentionally about purchases and this is it. The interface is absurdly cute and makes me want to open and use it more than with most tracking apps I’ve tried for various reasons. I hope to see it grow and add features over time but expect I’ll use this a lot to gamify not spending!

I am definitely guilty of being easily influenced online and on social media, and I love that this app helps keep me accountable from buying things that I don’t need! The questions help me realize if I truly need the item or if it is just an impulse buy. Great layout and simple to use!
